This image represents the founding of Kyle, Texas. When the railroad came to town they planned the community and platted it it; set up posters and climbed on a horse drawn wagon to auction off the lots. This all took place under “the Tree”. All the lots both residential and commercial were sold by the end of the day.

Wimberley Remembrance
After the flood of 2015 the community rose up together to clean up, reach out to each other and start the healing and rebuilding. This mixed media piece is remembering the the Blanco River as it was before and commemorating the 12 who lost their lives.

A rock building on Grape Town road near Fredricksberg, Texas has seen better days. I imagine the builder had no idea how long it would stand the test of time. It’s a 30X20 gallery wrap canvas with a unique twist for the frame.
